COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

49. All entries must include your name, age, postal address, home telephone number, cell number, email and any mandatory competition-specific info.

50. Entries dates are clearly stated in the magazine, unless otherwise specified.

51. All prizes and giveaways are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

52. If you cannot meet any one of the entry requirements, the judges reserve the right to award the prize to a runner-up. Prizes will take up to two months to be delivered.

53. The copyright of all entries, letters, emails, SMSs and questions belongs exclusively to seventeen and seventeen reserves the right to edit and republish them.

54. Any photographs, letters, SMSs and emails that are received by the seventeen editorial team will remain the property of seventeen and can be used in the magazine or online.

55. All letters and emails sent to any of the online experts will be reviewed and may or may not be answered or used in the magazine or online.

56. Email addresses from readers cannot be sent to any third party without the reader’s consent.

57. Anyone under the age of 25, except Media 24’s employees, employees of sponsoring companies, and their immediate families, can enter competitions or giveaways.

58. Only submissions from South Africa are allowed.

59. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

60. Check Are You A Winner in the Win section on seventeen.co.za to see if you’ve won.

61. Only one entry per person per giveaway or competition is allowed unless otherwise stated.

62. Prizes will be awarded to the first entries drawn unless otherwise stated.

63. The winner will be drawn and notified within 10 days of the competition closing. Their name will then appear on the Are You A Winner page on www.seventeen.co.za. The winner can expect to receive their prize within 60 days of being notified. 

64. All competition entry SMSs are charged at R1.50 each. Free minutes do not apply.
