Stick to natural colours on the eyes and stay away from any pinks, blues, greens and purples. If you would like to use gold tones then you should combine it with browns and maroons topped off with softly smudged black eyeliner. (Depending on how dark you like to wear your make-up.) Remember that warmer colours enhance any eye colour (think warm brown, gold and maroon tones), but if you prefer using silver tones then black, grey and dark maroon tones will be complementary. Peach cheeks and lips will look better with a purple dress than pinks.
For oily, sensitive skin with spots you will need a matte foundation; illuminating foundations will highlight the spots. Powder foundations also work well as they don’t tend to clog pores and will stay matte. Apply it with a foundation sponge or powder puff by pressing it onto the face. Do not rub as this will irritate the skin.
If you want to use a concealer, a cream textured concealer will be better than a liquid.
