Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen is sure glad the role of Hannah Montana went to Miley Cyrus, because she would have struggled to live up to the teen idol ideal. Believe it or not, but Taylor was just nine years old when she and Miley both were selected as two of the final three young actresses in the running for the Disney role. Now that she’s living the rock ‘n’ roll life with her band The Pretty Reckless‎, Taylor is grateful she was cut from the auditions for the family-friendly programme. She says: “Honestly, if I’d have ended up as Hannah Montana, I don’t know if the show would have gone as well.” Taylor doesn’t even like being referred to as a role model. She says: “I didn't get into this to be a role model. So, I'm sorry if I'm influencing your kids in a way that you don't like, but I can't be responsible for their actions. I don't care."

Why are you so angry Taylor? We think deep down she actually wanted the part.
