Taylor Momsen is adamant that all the music and lyrics in her latest album, Light Me Up, are all hers.

In an interview with BANG Showbiz she explained: "Musically, I grew up among a lot of gothic rock but I don't like to take on the style of other artists too much, that's not the point of it.

"You know, the record is very much written about my life and what I know, what I feel, what I've experienced and all that stuff. It's a very honest record, I guess."

Taylor added how excited she is for her upcoming tour. She spilled: "Hopefully we’ll have a lot of fun; it's all about us and the fans having a good time. We're going to rock it out! We're going to have a couple of upcoming and local bands supporting us which is really important to us. In terms of The Pretty Reckless though, fans should prepare themselves for it to be loud!"
