Position: Online content producer for www.seventeen.co.za

How I got here: I studied a Bachelor of Social Science at UCT and majored in Media and Writing and Psychology. I then did a short magazine feature writing course at City Varsity. I landed an internship at Food24.com where I was introduced to the amazing world of social media and writing for an online medium (the food and restaurants were an added bonus!). With the skills that I learned at Food24.com I was able to get my dream job at www.seventeen.co.za.

I love my job because... I am a teenager at heart and love the quick paced and progressive world of online writing! As the social media 'manager' my task is to work on Facebook and Twitter ALL day - how amazing is that? The seventeam is a family and my second home – it's great to come to a work environment where fun and hard work gel together so well!

The thing that drives me crazy is... a slow internet connection when I need to post my latest Tweet or upload a new gossip article. Also, hair pulling will definitely ensue if I want to Google the latest vampire hottie and the internet connection is down!
