Joe dumped Taylor in 2008 over a 27-second phone call. Harsh! Now the JoBro, who has since dated and split from Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene, wants to patch things up with the country music star.

A friend of Joe's told Us Weekly (via contactmusic.com) magazine: "He wants her back. He wants to show her he's a changed man and would love to see what's possible between them. They're putting their past behind them. And maybe rekindling an old flame."

Does this mean that Taylor is actually considering going back to Joe? (We seriously doubt it!)

Taylor was previous quoted saying she doubts she will even remember who Joe is when she finds her true love. She added: "You know what it's like, when I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I'm not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18. I looked at the call log, it was like 27 seconds. That's got to be a record."  (Oooh, burn!)
