My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year now, but have been friends for about five years. I want to know how I can tell my mom about him. I’m tired of hiding this from her as I sometimes feel like I need advice from her about my relationship. I just don’t know were to start and my mom and I are very close. I don’t know how she will react. Please help.
Ask your mother what she would do if you had a boyfriend. After judging her reaction, maybe try explaining to your mother that your good friend has become more than just a friend and you are really into him and that it would be nice to have her support.
