Summit Entertainment, the company behind the Twilight movie franchise, has announced that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, will be split in two films to be directed by Bill Condon.

The lead characters Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) will return to complete the final chapter of the Twilight Saga.

The first instalment is set to be released on 18 November 2011.

Breaking Dawn is the final novel in the series written by Stephenie Meyer and is told both through Bella and Jacob’s point of views.
