Why did you sign up for Camp Rock 2?
NICK JONAS: Camp Rock 2 was like a big reunion for us. We had a lot of fun filming the first movie, so it was amazing to come back two years later with the same cast for another music-filled movie of fun.

KEVIN JONAS: It felt great to return to Camp Rock because we knew everything had been stepped up for the sequel. There are a lot of fun dance scenes and great music in the sequel – and a lot of drama. It was a great story, so we knew we had to get involved.

What can you tell us about the story in the sequel?
JOE JONAS: All of the campers from the original movie return for another summer of fun in the sequel. But they arrive at Camp Rock to discover a rival music camp, Camp Star, has opened up across the lake. The new camp lures away many of Camp Rock's campers and instructors, so everyone has to work together to save the original camp from closing down.

What was your toughest challenge with the new movie?
NICK JONAS: I perform a song called Introducing Me in the movie and I was a little concerned about it. Why? Because it's a comedic song and I'm not used to comedy. I take music very seriously, so I didn't know if I was going to be able to perform a comedic song well. However, once I went into record the track, I became really comfortable with it. It was tough, but I'm glad it worked out.

What's the song about?
NICK JONAS: The song reveals the real personality of my character as he opens up his heart to a girl he likes.

How similar are you to the characters you play in Camp Rock 2?
KEVIN JONAS: To be honest, I think we all play heightened versions of ourselves in Camp Rock 2. We react to drama in a similar way off screen, although we're more over the top in the movie.

How does acting compare to music?
JOE JONAS: I think television and movies are something that all three of us love to do. Personally, I'd love to do more movies in the future, so that's definitely a dream of mine. However, music comes very naturally to us. It's always been in our family. We love writing music and recording – and you can't beat the buzz of performing.

NICK JONAS: Shooting a television show and being on the set of a movie is very different to performing music. I'm able to express who I am through music and that's really important to me.

Who are your acting heroes?
JOE JONAS: When it comes to movies, we are huge Daniel Craig fans. He's awesome.

You spend most of the year together. How do you manage to get along so well all the time?
JOE JONAS: We're in a very lucky position and we know that. We have great opportunities to do really cool things, so there's no reason to argue. We enjoy what we do, so there's no need to go to battle with our brothers or anything like that.

Do you ever throw a strop and not speak to each other?
KEVIN JONAS: Life moves on. If two feel strongly about something and you can't get past it, then you have to go to people who you trust. That's when we go to our management or to our elders. That rarely ever happens, though.

Do you still have fun working together?
NICK JONAS: Very much so.

KEVIN JONAS: The first Camp Rock was our first piece of acting experience, but it's amazing how much we know about the acting industry now. It's fun to play off each other and it's fun to use the new skills we've learned over the past two years.

JOE JONAS: It's especially fun whenever we have any comedy scenes because we're all quite different. Nick has a serious, sarcastic humour, Kevin has a slapstick humour and I'm somewhere in the middle. It's fun to play off each other in that way.

Who is the fourth Jonas Brother?
JOE JONAS: Our little brother Frankie is also a star of Camp Rock 2, which has been fun for us. He appeared in our Disney Channel show, JONAS, so it was the perfect opportunity for him to work with us again.

What's it like to work with your little brother?
JOE JONAS: It's amazing.

What's next for the Jonas Brothers?
NICK JONAS: We've got a world tour coming up and we're working on new music, but we're not in any rush to release a new album yet. We're going to take our time to try and come up with something great, no matter how long it takes.

What will the world tour involve?
JOE JONAS: We're going to visit as many places as possible.

NICK JONAS: And it's going to be bigger and better than anything we've ever done before. We're really excited about it and we can't wait to get on the road again. It's going to be amazing.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premieres on the Disney Channel at 09:00 AM on 18 September 2010.
